This is totally unacceptable to me. If you only want 1 week + bookings, then indicate that and require that amount of payment or don't reserve anything. I was depending on the accommodation for a group to stay because of a wedding celebration. Now I'm back to square one and it's late to begin.
Along with all of that, they were not polite or friendly via phone or email. I will never attempt to stay there or let anyone I know who is interested in the area stay there.

I contacted Leisure Lane Resort for a long weekend stay. When I first inquired I was not certain of the number of guests or the length of the stay. They told me what they had available and indicated I needed to get back to them soon, as there was a chance for someone else to book, which was totally understandable. I figured out details on my end and contacted them again. They indicated the cabin requested was still available, so I went ahead and sent them my credit card information and details about guests, etc as they requested. They said setting up tents as well as using the cabin was fine, so as far as I knew, everything was a go. A couple weeks later I received an email indicating they needed to cancel my booking because I never confirmed my stay and never indicated for certain how long I wanted to stay, all of which was false, and I have an email trail to prove it. I promptly called them and the woman on the phone said they never received my deposit. When I indicated I sent the email with the required information, she said, "oh well let me look". While she was looking she said, "it doesn't matter anyway though, we have to cancel your reservation because another group is coming and is going to stay longer".
I do not know anything about their facilities since I haven't been there, but I've heard in general the place is very "modest".
